TUHSEF $10,000 Innovative Project Grant
Faculty and staff may submit a proposal with a $10,000 budget to fund an innovative project. The project may impact all subject areas.
Online applications are available April 1 - August 15, 2025.

General Information
When Is The Grant Application Due And When Will The Award Be Given?
The Innovative Project Grant Application by due on Friday, August 15, 2025. Recipients will be notified of the TUHSEF Board decision and an account will be created for you to access. All grant recipients and their administrator(s) will be invited to a TUHSEF Reception for award recognition by the Governing Board.
How are Grant Applications Reviewed?
Grant applications will be reviewed by the Foundation Grant Committee. The review process will follow a standard protocol determined by the Foundation.
Grant Requirements and Restrictions

The project must directly benefit TUHSD students and their success.

The project must align with the TUHSEF mission and vision.

Tempe Union employee wages and salaries cannot be funded.

The grant is to supplement, not replace federal, state, or district school funds.

Food and gift cards will not be funded.

Categories may include but are not limited to materials and supplies, printing, postage, learning resources, audio-visual materials, computer software and peripherals, equipment approved by the District, professional development, consultant/Speaker, or other categories you deem important to the success of your project.

Principal must approve your project.

Funds should be spent in the school year awarded.

The purpose of the Innovative Project Grant is to encourage innovative projects to advance the mission and vision of Tempe Union HS District.
